  1. Just like his mother used to make, but with the all-his-own addition of extra-long, extra-hairy arm hairs in every bite

  2. Luckily my Uncle Jerry (who’s the REAL meatball pro) only has about half the body hair I do. Seriously, he gets all the props … he’s the real chef in the family … I just learned this stuff from watching him and my mom.

  3. Well, I’m in Bret’s family and have been eating these things for years, but never knew how to make them. Thanks, Bret, for the lesson! Can’t wait to try them. Next up, Aunt Gina’s Falones…

  4. Bret’s cousin Holly here – I just made Bret’s meatballs for my family and…Mamma Mia! Huge hit. My husband quickly remarked, “These are even better than Jerry’s!” I informed him that these are Jerry’s. I added parmesan cheese to the mix and also sprinkled the meatballs with more parm before broiling them. Nice addition. I served with Mario Batali’s “Basic Tomato Sauce” and fusilli (that crazy bastard). The kiddos and the hub were falling all over themselves. Thanks, Bret!

  5. Ooh, nice addition on the cheese! I put cheese (I like grana padano, sharp but not overpowering) in the mix sometimes, myself, but I’ve never broiled them with cheese on top. Will have to try. After all, if Kenny was impressed … wow … cause that’s a man who REALLY knows his balls!
