So as I understand it Philadelphia ranks as one of the fattest cities in the U.S. and now ranks as one of the ugliest as well. Ouch. Gee, I wonder if the famed Philly cheesesteak has anything to do with that.
If so, I just got a little bit uglier and fatter the other day because I had my first consumption experience of an authentic Philly cheesesteak at the above pictured historic establishment, Pat’s. Check out the full review.

See, the problem is that Pat’s has the biggest names in cheesesteaks in Philly, but their steaks are among the worst. The best I’ve ever had is actually from a place called Dalessandro’s in Roxborough. Next time you get down there, look it up. Also, you have to put ketchup on cheesesteaks, I know it sounds gross, but it makes them taste sooooooo much better.
hmm. good to know. You’re not the first to mention Dalessandro’s. Sounds like a trip is pending. Now the ketchup part, I’m going to have to contemplate.
