Chavellas: Mexican food in Prospect Heights?

  3. Um … that graymeat looks far from appetizing. I’m glad you were able to top that trash with a find in J-heights. Seriously, if I live in NYC much longer, I think I should just move out there. I’m sick of all this hip Brooklyn “Now we REALLY have Mexican food,” B.S.

  4. Chavelas sux. Their tortilla soup is possibly the worst pseudo-cilantric pablum I’ve ever tasted. Do not try this when you’re sick and looking for some mexily-spiced comfort food. No. Bad.
